Parking areas affected by upcoming projects

Lot 8
 
Lot 8, located in front of Holshouser Hall, will be closed Monday, May 20, through Monday, July 1, for reconfiguration, repaving, and restriping.  To accommodate students working for Housing and Residence Life, any UNC Charlotte parking permit will be valid in Lot 8A (between Moore and Scott) and MSU (the small lot by Sanford, Scott, and RDH) until Lot 8 reopens.
 
 
Cone Decks

Cone Decks 1 and II will undergo extensive preventative maintenance beginning May 26 and continuing through the summer. The deck will remain open, with some parts closed in phases as work progresses.  This project may kick up some dust but not debris.

The first phase of the project will require the closing of Cone Deck I, levels 2 and 3; Level 1, F/S gated access parking will remain open. The Visitor parking area on level 3 will reopen in phases as work progresses. Both levels of Cone Deck 2, (F/S gated access and Visitor parking ) will remain open until the second phase of the project, which is expected to begin July 14.

During this second phase, Visitor parking at Cone Deck I, level 3 and F/S gated access parking on level 1 will be open. F/S parking on level two will be closed. Both levels of Cone Deck II will be closed.

South Village Deck is scheduled to open on July 1!
