UNCC NextRide provides CATS Campus Shuttle and SafeRide tracking on a map with arrival predictions, schedules and service alerts. Routes, schedules, arrivals and bus movement can be seen in real time, in one place.
The real-time* GPS tracking map shows the current location of all vehicles with color-coded route, stop and vehicle icons for easy identification.
View bus locations and arrival information in real-time using a FREE mobile app available in the Apple and Android app stores.
The text message alert system (which will be added to the service by October) allows users to receive SMS text messages showing the arrival time estimates for each bus stop. Simply send a request SMS text message including the stop ID and in just a few seconds, you will get a reply.
*CATS buses transmit data location every 20 seconds; SafeRide vehicles transmit every 5 seconds.

A fast, easy and FREE website where you can quickly and securely find carpool partners. Using your home and work addresses, you will be matched to nearby commuters with similar schedules. Your home address will never appear on match lists.
ShareTheRideNC also has an automated email feature, alerting you when a new commuter signs up who is interested in carpooling, or when a vanpool is formed that matches your commute. By default, the system will search for matches every-other week and send an email when a new matches are found.
